The Feilding I.A&P Association holds its "Best of Beef" show classes during the 3 days of the CD Field days at the Manfield site. The Southern North Island Murray Grey Breeders club take a stand in Beef street each year to promote the breed.

This year, despite gale force winds on the first day and difficulties holding the tent down on tar seal, and hot sunny conditions on the 2nd and 3rd, the stand survived.
A competition to find the lucky spot on the cow gained good interest from the public walking into the Field Days site, and helped toward the cost of the site. Some good contacts have resulted. Cattle from Yorkvale stud were on display in the pen each day, and also took part in the Show competitions.
